That was good. Certain parties conspicuous by their absence. Had a rough weekend did we?

Hi martin et al

Fortunately for all you banjo haters out there I wont be going tonight. Its the last in the series of Heroes on BBC2 tonight and I'm convinced that sylar is Noam Pikelny and hes going to whip out a banjo in the last 10 minutes, so I cant miss it.

Yup Mr 'Davidsondude', I'll try not to make a habit of double booking myself on pick nights in future! Sure I'll be there, how's about you? (...and your good lady???...)

yes, i will be trying to haul my sorry banjo up the road to horrorford. I've been trying to persuade her inside the doors, but a night without me AND my banjo seems too good to be true for her, so probably not.

hey, have you learnt manchicken yet?

I propose a prize for the first person to play it all the way through at anything over 40 beats per minute.

Looks like John may be a contender, there, Paul. Clever bugger. There is no point in my even thinking about it...

the prize is a pint at sore fingers. However, as I'm getting made redundant, it will have to be some sort of cheap lager. In order to qualify for full strength beer (carlsburg, guiness etc) i feel that you should be able to play it at 150 bpm.
